Welcome to the Heart of SamEngee Family Hub!
Our Story is a unique blend of love, laughter, and life lessons. Our journey began over a decade ago, when Samuel (Sam) and Ngozi (Engee) Ogagaoghene crossed paths during the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) in Ile-Ife, Osun State, Nigeria. What started as a simple inquiry about the NYSC program turned into a deep connection.
After a friendly introduction, Sam guided Engee around the university campus on their first walk together, and that moment sparked a beautiful love story. From that day forward, we shared more than just walks – we shared our lives, dreams, meals, memories, tears, joy, victories and every thing life has thrown at us. Professionally, we both work in impact investing and are disciples in the work place. Here is a random picture a friend took on us on day 1
Our Love Story
Our love story has blossomed
because of our shared faith in God and our commitment to each other. Along the way, we have learned, unlearned, relearned together, discovering new depths to our relationship and finding joy in the everyday moments. We are excited to share with you the wisdom, insights, and lessons we have gathered over the years enriched with research and knowledge from other couples, mentors and family life professionals. We hope you partner with us to protect, enjoy and celebrate the sacred institution of marriage.

Our Family
After five years of dating, including two years of long distance, we tied the knot in December 2020 and embarked on the beautiful journey of marriage.
Together, we have been blessed with two amazing children – Samantha and Samuel Jr. For us, our family is everything. It is our first ministry and the foundation we will leave behind. Our home is a place where love, laughter, and faith intertwine. We genuinely love each other, prioritize our family values and have fun learning and growing together.
Our vision for our family is to make our home a version of heaven on earth for us, our children and everyone who comes in.
We are deeply committed to nurturing a strong, healthy, and joyful family life because we believe that thriving families – especially within the Christian faith – are essential to fulfilling Jesus’ Great Commission. By strengthening families, we are building a solid foundation for making disciples and spreading love, joy, and faith throughout the world.
Our Faith
Our faith is deeply rooted in God
who formed us and knew us even before we were born, in Jesus, who loved us first while we were still sinners, and in the Holy Spirit, our constant comforter, guiding and empowering us every day. We are proud members of the First Baptist Church of Glenarden (FBCG), where our journey of faith continues to grow.
When God placed the vision for SamEngee Family Hub in our hearts, He led us to 2 Corinthians 1:3-4: “Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God.” This scripture speaks to the heart of our mission: sharing the comfort and compassion that God has shown us, especially during the challenges of family life. We extend that same love to you – our community with the hope of seeing your relationships and marriages flourish.
